There is no such place as far away....
Oh hell there is! i liked that book a lot, Richard Bach is one of the few others i liked.
Distances are all around, they creep on you, its fun till you realize it. Longer you take to feel these distances more it can hurt when you do discover them. Like when you find a downhill path, when your cycling, you take it rather it takes you.
Right now, its all about feeling distances, between those who are a few blocks from my cubicle and those many miles.
yeah.

Frankly, I don't "get" Richard Bach and I don't get what people "get" about Richard Bach. I read one his books "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull" and I liked it more because other people liked it -- and then I started reading one called "One" and boy, could I not wait to put it down.
Here's a little job for you, Adi: write a nice blog-post on what you like about Richard Bach.
hehe! in reaction to the comment above! but i like richard bach and im glad you liked 'theres no such place as far away' :)
distances...hmm ya i agree to that...longer you take to discover the distance, the more it hurts!:p and distances are funny...there are all kinds of distances- in space, time, connections..things next to you cld be more distant than those many miles away also...
i dont deny that ive not felt the 'far away' at times, but its also up to you...the mind and the heart is amazing...it can as richard bach says make you believe that 'theres no such place as far away'..and it feels real.i believe in that.. haha..i shd'nt leave comment on this topic...i can write an essay.
